Brazil is the world’s largest producer of coffee. Santos, Brazil’s finest coffee growing region includes Sao Paulo, Parana and southern Minas Gerais, and coffees are shipped from the port city of Santos. We prefer Brazilian coffee from this area because it exemplifies the best of Brazil in its delicate and smooth flavor. Our current offering comes from a Fair Trade Cooperative known as “Poco Fundo”. The coop is the true success story with every bag of their coffee being pre-sold. The farms are extraordinarily well maintained and biologically active, and their picking and drying methods are extremely meticulous. Due to the full natural processing, this coffee has fruity note that makes for a unique flavor. The coffee of “Poco Fundo” is some of the best we have ever tasted from Brazil.
