The Indonesian island of Sumatra is home to one of our customer’s favorite coffees. No other coffee has the syrupy richness and smooth flavor of a fine Sumatran. In the 1980s we used to purchase a Sumatran coffee known as “Golden Mandheling” that had wonderful body and distinct character. We are again offering this exceptional style of coffee, now known as “Retro Sumatran”. If you are looking for a low-acid coffee with bold flavor, Sumatran is a good choice.
