Brazil Natural Pocos de Caldas 16+ GrainPro

$14.95 lb.

This coffee is sourced from producers living in Poços de Caldas, a municipality within the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.  The high elevations in Poços de Caldas allow the coffee cherry to mature slowly in the nutrient rich volcanic soil, which means the coffee beans develop distinct flavor characteristics not commonly found in other Brazilian naturals. Dry-processed (Naturally processed) coffees are dried while they are still in the cherry. Since the coffees are dried in contact with the sweet mucilage, the coffee will be sweet, smooth, and complex.

The Brazil Pocos de Caldas has a fruity aroma that follows through into the flavor. Along with the fresh fruit and cola notes, the brew has hints of vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel with a creamy milk chocolate finish. The GrainPro bags insure that this coffee will keep it fresh flavor for many months until we are ready to roast the beans.
