Golden Sprouting Buds


Golden leaf, exquisite flavor. Mild tannins, malty, and sweet, with a finish reminiscent of dried plums and raisins.

The “leaves” are actually single buds, which accounts for the golden coppery look of the tea. The cup is light – medium in body, which is expected from an all-bud tea.  An exceptional tea from the Yunnan region.

Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a rolling boil; steep for 3 minutes. Good hot or iced.
