Mexican Oaxaca Pluma Los Naranjos Pochutla

$15.95 lb.

Our Mexican Oaxaca coffee is sourced from 32 family-owned farms located in the community of Los Naranjos Esquipulas within the municipality of San Pedro Pochutla in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.  Typica Pluma is the variety of coffee tree that is grown here.  The coffee beans are fully washed and dried  in the sun on patios.  Coffee producers use their own micro-mills to process harvested coffee cherries, which allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting and drying the coffee.  Coffee is cultivated on farms that average 10 to 25 acres in size with altitudes of 1,369 meters.  Producers are focused on quality to gain higher prices for the income needed to support best agricultural practices and an improved standard of living for their families.

Our Mexican coffee has a nice chocolate and caramel aroma with hints of fruit and citrus.  The body is silky and rich with flavors of chocolate, caramel and orange and hints of apple and lemon.
