November begins our holiday season, and that means BEANS BEANS, and oh yes, MORE BEANS here at Kaffeeklatsch.
To make sure we can keep up with the increased holiday demand for coffee (and more), we create a smaller holiday menu of what’s available and how to get it in plenty of time.
What’s the difference?
The ‘Limited Holiday Menu’ is everything that can be purchased at the regular pound amounts, 1/2lb to 3/4lb to full, etc.
Everything else outside of that list, roasted coffee-wise, will have a Minimum Quantity required, as well as an Order Ahead requirement.
What does that mean?
This means that anything on the ‘Off-Menu’ list below now has to be ordered no later than one week in advance and starting at no fewer than 5 pounds. So if you need 10 lbs of coffee next Thursday and today is Tuesday, then today (tomorrow at the latest) is now Ordering Day.
It can be frustrating and stressful, trying to plan things out and gauge how much you’ll need, but trust us when we say this is much less stressful than turning around and realizing you’ve missed the ordering window for your holiday coffee requirements. Set an alert in your calendar or stick a note to the fridge, whatever helps you keep those forgotten coffee jars from shaking their chains and warning you of your hubris, Jacob Marley style.
Coffee Of The Month: Mexico Oaxaca San Miguel Guerrero
Smooth aroma with notes of chocolate chip cookies and toasted macadamia nuts. Soft and sweet in the cup with nuances of milk chocolate, marshmallows, sugar cookies, and soft baking spices. A great low-acid option.
Tea Of The Month: Ginger Orange Tisane
A flavorful Organic blend of fruits and herbs with orange peel, ginger, apple bits, hibiscus blossoms, rose hip husks, and lemongrass. Delicious hot or cold. Also blends nicely with our Organic Rooibos. Certified Organic.
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. (or 2-3 grams) of tea per 6 oz. of water; heat fresh water to a rolling boil; steep for 5-10 minutes.
Our Limited Holiday Menu will be in effect from Sunday, November 22nd through our last business day of the year, Thursday, December 24th at 12pm.
We will reopen with the full menu Tuesday, January 5th.
Shipping orders are processed Tuesday through Friday afternoon.
Orders placed Friday night through Monday will be processed the following week.
Shipping times vary. In some cases, it may take up to two weeks for delivery. (The postal system, am I right?)
