Fragrant Fruit Mountain Oolong
Fragrant Fruit Mountain Oolong is from a relatively new cultivar, No. 1 MingKe, developed by the Fujian Research Institute. Delicate, sweet, and low in tannins. Full of honey and honeysuckle notes with hints of watemelon, cucumber, and a subtle herbiness.
Recommendations: Use 3 heaping tsp. (or 6 grams) per 6 oz. gaiwan; heat fresh water to 195 degrees F; steep for 30 seconds. Add 30 seconds per extra steeping for 3-4 total steepings.
Or use 2 level tsp. (or 3 grams) per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to 195 degrees F; steep for 2 to 3 minutes.
