Hey June, Don’t Fly Too Fast

It’s hot, it’s humid, it’s here, it’s SUMMERTIME!
Get ready to dig out those shorts, slap on some sunscreen and bug spray and explore farmer’s markets with a delicious iced coffee made at home with some of our freshly roasted beans. Summer is here! We aren’t quite into the blazing heat, but the temperature is rising and so is the need for coffee.

Some tasty tips: Making your coffee at home means more money for market trinkets and fresh local produce, and any leftover coffee you brewed can be frozen into coffee ice cubes to use in the next cup so it doesn’t water down that carefully crafted beverage!

Coffee of the Month: Papua New Guinea Timuza
This coffee has a great aroma with hints of dark chocolate, almond, cherry, and caramel. It offers a full bodied cup, with nuances of rich chocolate brownies, salted caramel, dried cherry, and almonds. While rich and heavy, our Papua New Guinea is still a little sweet, and absolutely delicious!
Certified Organic

Tea of the Month: Summer Peach Green
From recently returned to Tea Of The Month, this tasty tea has a special place in our hearts! A soft green tea blended with sunflower petals and peach pieces, it makes a refreshing and delicate cup of tea whether hot or iced. Drinking it always transports us to a quiet moment on the porch with a friend, soft laughter and the muted, unending scream of cicadas.
(Which is a positive association with summer, we swear)

Featured Brew Style: Aeropress
A great way to make a cup on the go, the areopress combines the features of a pour-over, french press, and espresso machine to deliver a rich, smooth, full-bodied coffee experience. We offer a variety of aeropress styles to choose from, and will gladly talk your ear off on the merits of each one!

Summer Shout-out: As a local business ourselves, we recognize the importance in supporting other locals and their endeavors, and love doing so! We carry a selection of locally made products, including some stunning pottery made by Ned Corron and Rebecca Palacio! Their pieces make great gifts, for someone special or as a summer treat for yourself. Both artists can be found on Instagram: @nedcorron and @rebeccapalacioceramics
