Colombia Supremo

Description

Our Colombia Supremo is sourced from coffee producing communities throughout Colombia working through exporter FederaciĆ³n Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC). FNC was first created in 1927 with coffee growers uniting for national and international representation to ensure their well-being and improve life quality. Today they are one of the largest rural NGOs in the world with a mission for economic and social development and respect to the environment while creating high quality coffee.

Coffee crops are grown at altitudes of 1,300 to 1,650 masl, in a volcanic loam soil. Coffee cherries are fully washed and dried in the sun for processing. Family producers cultivate, harvest, and process on small farms, developing farm management and post harvest solutions to fit their specific needs.

Pleasant aroma of milk chocolate, with a hint of cinnamon, and subtle peach and citrus nuances. Smooth, rich medium body. Nice sweetness in the cup with notes of milk chocolate and cocoa powder, soft peach, and subtle orange cream.
