Gold Kuan Yin
This tea is from a hybrid of the renowned Ti Kuan Yin cultivar. It is also grown in Anxi, in the Fujian region of China, and has similarly rolled leaves. Its aroma has notes of lavender and honeysuckle. It is exceptionally smooth and sweet, with a soft mouth feel, notes of melon, citrus, and honey with a lightly floral and herbaceous finish.
Recommendations: Use 1 tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh, cold water to about 195ºF; steep for 3 minutes.
